Private Residence - MetroWest Boston:
Comprehensive first floor renovation/addition. Previous remote and semi-private pottery studio facing rearward was removed, allowing for new full-foundation added basement space with new bulkhead and laundry, and the opportunity above for the new kitchen and MBR spaces in alignment with the first floor. The footprint in the rear was unchanged, even with "smart" cantilevers, and the much-needed mudroom was added sideward, in sonotube and deck-type construction. There were also second floor kids' bathroom improvements.

Design features include:
All new eat-in kitchen with island, entry mudroom, casual dining space with half butler pantry and window seat; all new master bedroom suite, including a new full bathroom and tub, walk-in closets, bed-bumpout, and powder room.
